Led by Alex Rose, general counsel and chief commercial officer, the expanded team will support QII’s projects from site acquisition and deal structuring through construction contracting and delivery.
“As we build the next generation of infrastructure, it will take a team with diverse skills who focus on how we can connect with our community and support both local and regulatory needs,” said Chad Williams, chairman and CEO of QII. “Alex is building a group of entrepreneurial-minded individuals with world class experience who also understand the importance of being strong community builders. It’s good to welcome new people and bring old associates back to the family.”
Rose joined QII ahead of its May 2026 launch and leads the company’s legal, commercial, and real estate functions.
“Paul, Marc, Michael, and Logan know how to identify issues early and make the right decisions to prioritize the communities we’re building with,” Rose said. “Their experience strengthens our work at every stage of development.”
Paul Dominick, associate general counsel, real estate, oversees legal and transaction matters supporting QII’s infrastructure development. He joins from QTS Data Centers, where he advised on real estate and development for large-scale data center projects.
Marc Russell, associate general counsel, real estate, brings more than two decades of real estate law experience to QII. He previously held roles at QTS Data Centers and Worcester Investments, and practiced at law firms focused on real estate.
Michael Smilow, associate general counsel, construction and design, guides legal strategy for QII’s development and construction programs. A construction lawyer for more than 20 years, he joins from Related Companies, where he most recently served as senior vice president and general counsel for design and construction.
Logan Miller, vice president of real estate, leads site strategy and execution for QII’s developments. He previously held real estate leadership roles at QTS Data Centers and Greenlight Data Centers, supporting land and asset acquisitions for major projects. A lawyer by training, he brings commercial and legal experience to site development.
QII expects to announce its first development sites later this year.
